Topic
Gender equity and health equity are deeply connected. Equal opportunities for women to access leadership positions in global health can have far-reaching implications for the quality of women's health care.
With our 4 keynote speakers we aim to discuss: What are the current major challenges in global women's health? Why is closing the gender gap in global health leadership crucial? What topics should be prioritized, ad how can German politicians offer support?
This event is part of a recurring series of fireside chats that we have been organizing for over a year. These chats generally focus on women in the workforce, women in leadership roles, women's health, gender medicine, women's role in digital transformation, and more. On the occasion of the World Health Summit, we are extending an invitation to international guests to join our evening event.

About us
Tagesspiegel has developed very successfully in recent years and is now number one in Berlin in terms of circulation and journalistic significance, both in print and digitally. It is one of the most cited newspapers in Germany and reaches more political decision-makers in the capital than all national subscription newspapers combined.
In the latest IVW surveys, Tagesspiegel recorded one of the best circulation trends of all German newspapers. The editorial team and publishing house get continually expanded to meet the challenges of the media market with innovations. Like Die Zeit, Handelsblatt and Wirtschaftswoche, Tagesspiegel belongs to Dieter von Holtzbrinck's DvH Medien GmbH.
Our event is an official side event of the World Health Summit 2023
